Privacy, Data Retention & Compliance

1. Who we are

ADONİS NETWORK YAZILIM SAN. VE TİC. A.Ş. (“Adonis Network”), registered in Istanbul, Türkiye, is the data controller for all identity verification (KYC) processing performed at kyc.adonis.network. Verification completed here is recognised across the Adonis Network platforms: Marketplace, Workspace, Sarafi and Exchange.

2. What we collect and why

To verify your identity we process only what the verification tiers require:

• Identity documents — national ID card, passport or driving licence photos (Tier 1).
• Selfie and liveness video — a photo of you with your document and a short video with a one-time code (Tier 2).
• Proof of address — a recent utility bill or bank statement (Tier 3).
• Review records — decision, reviewer, timestamp and reason for every review action.

The legal basis is compliance with our legal obligations (AML/KYC) and the performance of our contract with you. We do not use your KYC data for marketing, and we do not sell or share it with third parties. It never leaves Adonis Network infrastructure.

3. How your data is protected

Documents are encrypted with AES-256 at rest and in transit and stored on protected private storage that is never exposed through public URLs. Access is limited to authorised compliance reviewers; every access is logged in an immutable audit trail. Your verified status — not your documents — is mirrored to each Adonis platform.

4. Data retention

KYC records are retained for as long as your Adonis account remains active, and afterwards for the minimum period required by applicable Turkish anti‑money‑laundering legislation (overseen by MASAK) and KVKK. When the retention period ends, documents and derived data are irreversibly deleted from all storage, including backups, on the next purge cycle.

5. Your rights (KVKK)

Under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK) you may at any time:

• request a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
• request correction of inaccurate data;
• request deletion of your documents and KYC data;
• object to processing or request restriction where the law allows.

Send requests to kyc@adonis.network from your registered e‑mail address. Deleting KYC data also removes your verified status on every Adonis platform; records the law obliges us to keep are retained until their statutory period expires.

6. Compliance

Our verification programme follows Turkish AML/KYC regulations supervised by MASAK, and personal data processing follows KVKK. Every submission is reviewed by a human compliance reviewer within 24 hours — there are no automated approvals. Complaints may be addressed to us at kyc@adonis.network or to the Turkish Personal Data Protection Authority (Kişisel Verileri Koruma Kurumu).
